A key client of BEM Ireland, Thermo King decided to sieze an opportunity to showcase their world class manufacturing facilities in Galway City and launch a new product by inviting their top dealers and distributers to visit the plant during the final Stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race 2012. The event proved to be a great business success with over 90 guests and corporate team travelling from all over Europe to visit the manufacturing facility and enjoy the festivities. The social highlights of the programme were the welcome gala dinner and entertainment and a full day programme on board the MV Tranquillity to watch the race followed by dinner and entertainment in the Executive Lounge of the Race Village. BEM Ireland were contracted to design and execute the programme and handle all the operational and transportation logistics.
Thermo King in Galway (Ingersoll Rand) have worked with BEM Ireland since 2006. BEM Ireland are contracted to manage all of the destination management services for our Customer Visit Programmes based in Dublin & Galway including:
• Personal greeting service for arriving guests
• Accommodation and transportation
• Arrangement of dining, entertainment and gifts
• Touring and cultural experiences
• Translation services
• Full on site tour management
• Single invoicing
BEM have consistently carried out their duties in an efficient and professional manner. They fully understand the importance of helping us fulfil our customer’s needs while in Ireland. Their communication with our administrative offices in Brussels and Ireland is concise and efficient. The feedback from our Dealers and Customers across Europe Africa & Middle East has always been excellent. We are consistently kept up to date with the changing needs of our customer’s as experienced during their visits.
We recently held two product launches and contracted BEM Ireland to help us manage both events. BEM organised our entire off site conferencing and event requirements in addition to the normal destination management services necessary to make the event a positive experience for our travelling customers. Moth events were a great success with an overwhelmingly positive response from our guests.
